Our History

REPARROWS were invented in 2004 by Jim Davis. Produced to fill a need in his quiver, Jim and his children have personally made every Reparrow sold from within his personal workshop. Each footing balances the integrity of the wood and the reliable precision all archers rely on, creating an arrow that’s stronger than before the break.
Rescuing items has long been a passion of Jim’s. A long-time attendee of local yardsales during the season, he’s known as avid collector of used and antique tools. Born to a farming family, Jim developed a habit of learning to do things himself, including building a home of his own when he lived in Maine. He has made traditional wooden bows and arrows for decades, though Reparrows are a particular feat of engineering which is relatively recent in development. Designed through a unique process of polishing, trimming, and hollowing dowels, Reparrows allow Jim and his family to continue using arrows that would otherwise have been discarded over time from use.
I developed Reparrows for my own use and I am still a regular customer — my arrows break too! I will defend their quality against all comers.
