Our History

Photo. A man holding an open book while sitting in front of a bookshelf.

Jim Davis invented REPARROWS in 2004. Jim and family members have made every Reparrow in the home workshop. There has always been a satisfaction guaranteed or money back promise. No one has ever asked for their money back.

Rescuing broken things has been a compulsion of Jim’s since childhood. A long-time hounder of yard sales he’s an avid gatherer of used and antique tools. Born to a farming family, he learned to do things himself, including building his home when he lived in Maine, building two rifles from scratch, building three wooden boats and repairing heavy equipment. He has made traditional wooden bows and arrows for decades and Reparrows are a natural outgrowth of that interest. Reparrows make it possible to put broken arrows back in service.

IMITATED, BUT NOT EQUALED.
